He was predeceased by: his brother Don (Dorothy); and his parents, Marjorie Adams (Trimble) and Wallace Adams. He is survived by: his spouse Ardith (Summers); his sons, Scott (Kim) and Craig (Leslie); his siblings, Shirley Parker (Bob), Gayle Rice (Paul) and Ross Adams (Ruth); and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Summers and Darlene Summers (Jamie Stewart). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

By family request, donations in Memory of John may be made to the WDMH Foundation in support of the New Dundas Manor.
