He was predeceased by: his daughter Marilyn Jean Whitford (Emmy); his siblings, Dwayne Gillard (Shirley), Donnie Gillard (late Grace) and Betty (late Bob); and his parents, Edward Gillard and Bertha Gillard.

He is survived by: his wife Nettie Jean Gillard; his son Denis Gillard (Patty) of Morrisburg; his grandchildren, Terry Whitford (Tracy), Sheila Gillard (Josh) and Kayla Gillard; his great grandchildren, Tyson and Craig; his siblings, Ronnie Gillard (Judy) of Finch, John Gillard (Hilda) of Finch and Patricia Alguire (Kenny) of London, Ont.; and his friends, Garry Brownlee and Carole Andre.

Memorial Donations to the Long Sault Pentecostal Church would be appreciated by the family.
