She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frederick James Purdy and Roberta Edrie Lackie; her former husband Duncan McMillan; her daughter Heather; her husband Gilbert Walter Jackson; her siblings, Winston Purdy (Marion) of Mallorytown, Ronda Ferguson of Brockville and Ronnie; her children, Leah-Anne (Randy) of Cornwall and Bob McMillan of Finch; and her grandchildren, Jody, Tara, Athena, Grant, Brock, Marie, Alicia and Jenna. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
