Rowat Merkley Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rowat Merkley of Ingleside, Ontario, who passed away on December 22, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnis Merkley and Etta Merkley; his brother Dwight Merkley; and his brother-in-law Ralph Marcellus. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Merkley; his children, Margaret Whisselle of Morrisburg and Chris Merkley (Pam) of Williamsburg; his grandchildren, Jessica (Dan), Cole (Anna), Morgan (Quincy), Holly, Daryon, Connery, Embyr (Tyler), Aria and Draven; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Marcellus of Riverside Heights, Marion Johnston (Lee) of Morrisburg and Edna Dufresne (Brian) of Ingleside. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements Due to Covid restrictions a private funeral service will be held at Lakeshore Drive United Church in Morrisburg.
