He was predeceased by: his wife Rolande Eva Beehler (Benoit). He is survived by: his children, Lorraine Nelson (Keith) of Crysler, Michael of Crysler, Susan Lafleur (Leo) of Embrun, Estelle Beehler (Réal) of Embrun, Denise Moore (John) of Ottawa, Joanne Billingsley (Terry) of Ottawa and Marc (Stacey) of Berwick. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
