She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Barkley and Leona Barkley; her sisters, Marion Woods, Beverly Ault, Shirley Sparks and Elaine Stitt (Bill); her son Dan; and her granddaughter Gennifer.

She is survived by: her daughter Lori Staerkle (Dave); her grandson Alex; her siblings, Wayne Barkley (Carolyn), Linda Casselman (Ronnie) and Joanne Cook (Larry); her sister-in-law Margaret Danis; and her nieces and nephews, Brooke, Austyn and Kayleigh.
