Lyle Rutley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Rutley (Ingleside, Ontario), who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Hunter-Rutley; his parents, Hugh John and Sarah Rutley (Brown); and his siblings, Hughena Russell (late Don), Melba Singleton (late Ray), Winston (late Dorothy), Dwayne, Bryce and William.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Matt (Rudi), Linda Helliwell (Douglas), Hughena Hart (William), Steven Rutley Ingleside (Sherry) and Sara Rutley-Fawcett (Brian); his grandchildren, Stephen Matt, Lyle Macpherson, Lee Hart (Sandra), Joanna Matt (Wade Steele), D. J. Macpherson, Victoria, Olivia Fawcett, Heather Lochheed (Paul) and Brad Helliwell; his great grandchildren, Emily, Meghan, Ren, Greta Jane, Ollie Macpherson, Brendan, Ryan, Kyle Melesky, Dylan, Olivia, Joshua Hart, Tyler, Kendra Lochheed and Ethan Helliwell; his great great grandchild Kynlee Lochheed; his sister Annie Runions (late Ken); and his sisters-in-law, Isabel Hunter (late Myles), Rosemary Rutley (late William), Margret Rutley (late Dwayne) and Doris Rutley (late Bryce). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date with interment at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
