He was predeceased by: his daughter Laura; and his parents, Alvin Leighton and Helen Leighton. He is survived by: his significant other Linda; his son Dustin (Megan); his sisters, Jean (Mansfield) and Karen (Turner); and his grandchildren, Emily, Taylor, Jones, Uncle of Michael, Marie, Jennifer, Jessica and Khari.
