He was predeceased by: his parents, Osborne Shaver and Pearl Shaver of Finch; and his brothers, Willis, Harold and Hillard.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Shaver Jr. and Nancy Dupuis (Raymond); his grandchildren, Kody (Rachel) and Brooke (Julian); his stepchildren, Kelly Kennedy (Jeff) and Kevin Runions (Varnya); and his grandchildren, Veronica and Cass.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph's Villa or the Children's Shriners Hospital of Canada would be appreciated .
