He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryce Docksteader and Hazel Hewitt; his stepmother Leona Docksteader; his grandmother Mary Westley (Alex); and his uncles, Ross and Thorton Westley (Norma).

He is survived by: his stepparents, Allan Terrence, Big Brother and Lancaster; his siblings, Kelly Terrence (Lee Ann) of Belleville, Angela Terrence (Frank) of Corbyville and Michael Terrence (Christina) of Belleville; his nieces and nephews, David, Michelle and Tristan; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Destiny, Devonte, D'asia and Blayne; and his aunt Sharon Westley (late Ralph). He is also survived by numerous cousins, good friends, and co-workers.
