He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan Phillips and Lillian Phillips (Barrie). He is survived by: his wife Pamela Phillips (Auger); his children, Megan Brownell (Matt), Andrew Phillips (Laura van Kessel) and Alex Phillips; his grandchildren, Leah and William Brownell; his siblings, Sandra Nansen (Derek), Lesley Moran (Karl) and Laurie Arkinstall (Andrew); his parents-in-law, Allan and Faye Auger; his siblings-in-law, Maureen Tynan (Malcolm), Colleen Willison (Eric) and Martin Auger (Melissa); his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Patrick, Lily, Jesse, Katie, Karlie, Ryan, Grace and Jacob; and his great-niece Anna.
