She was predeceased by: her spouse Kenneth McPhail; her daughters, Sandra and Elaine; her parents, Elizabeth McClave and John McClave; and her siblings, Lloyd, Stuart, John and MaryEllen.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Allinotte (Richard) of St. Andrew's West, Kate McDonald (Archie) of Martintown, Leonard (Veronica) of Lunenburg, James of Ottawa, Alex (Colleen) of Lunenburg, Angus (Cindy) of Lunenburg, Gerry (Diane) of Lunenburg, Linda Amell (Dick) of St. Andrew's West, Andy (Joyce) of Martintown and Janet Wheeler (Mike) of St. Andrew's West; and her sister Isobel (late Aloysius Clancy). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
