He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Carter; his son Steven Carter (Erin); and his parents, Gordon Carter and Jean Carter. He is survived by: his son Jeff Carter (Leigh-Ann) of Ingleside; his grandchildren, Emma, Adam, Owen and Olivia; and his siblings, Donald Forbes, Nancy Forbes and Susan Forbes.
