She was predeceased by: her husband Charles 'Ray' Amell; her sisters, Ruby Vader of Eganville and Evelyn Iacurci of Brockville; her parents, Albert Heigh and Eleanor Heigh (Parks); and her son Gary.

She is survived by: her children, Mavis Beilby (late Robert) of Barhaven, Donald Amell (Shirley) of Ingleside, Linda Markell (Ivan) of Ingleside and Michael Amell (Helene) of Ingleside; her grandchildren, Patricia, Roland, Melissa, Natasha, Chad, Jessica and Rebecca; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Logan, Liam, Evan, Serenity, Katlyn, Titus and Tyson.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
