He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bob, Grant, Thomas Henry, Winston and Stella.

He is survived by: his children, John Brown (Daphne) of Coldwater and Betty-Ann Brown (Darrell) of Dorchester; his grandchildren, Sarah Yetman, Mike Stefanic, Mason Brown and Makenna Brown; his great grandchildren, Maxwell and Violet; and his siblings-in-law, LillianYetman, Lenora Yetman, Joan (Hayward Shute), John (Lynne Smith) and Janet (Cliff Pike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
