He was predeceased by: his mother Viola Gaston; his stepfather Fred Gaston; and his father Rudy Schramm. He is survived by: his significant other Shirley; his children, Elizabeth (Jim), Jennifer and Thomas; his grandsons, Caleb and Ethan; his brother Richard (Pamela); and his nieces and nephews, Alisha, Joel, Paul and Daniel.
