He is survived by: his wife Linda Leyten; his father Philip Hovey; his brother Todd Hovey (Denise); his children, Patricia Nolan (Kip), Trevor Meldrum and Erika Esser (Travis); and his nieces, Lauren, Nevaeh and Ashley. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Unifor Local 88 Union Hall (364 Victoria St, Ingersoll, ON N5C3J6). Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fundy Funeral Home (230 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2G3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fernhill Cemetery (200 Westmorland Rd, Saint John, NB E2J2E7).
