He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Rickard and Catherine Rickard; and his son Douglas. He is survived by: his spouse Sharon; his children, Lee and Jen; his grandchildren, Haley (BooBoo) and Dougie (Buddy); his siblings, Karl and Anne Smith (Doug); his niece Kayla; and his nephew Curtis.
