He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evans (Hy) and Dorothy; his grandfather George Rowland Bateman (Rowland); and his brother Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Sara; his children, John (Ramona) and Heather (John); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Ryan), Jonathan, Sarah and Cameron; his great grandchild Isaac; his niece Tracy; and also, Roma, Peter (Tracey), Sydney and Duncan.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Roy's name to the Huntsville Memorial District Hospital (which saved his life in 2006) or the Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation.
