It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Koen Robert Wilfred Schmidtke of Huntsville, Ontario, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Kevin and Tara (Marcus); his siblings, Kelton and Taea; his stepsibling Lara; and his grandparents, Phyllis Fraser (Barrie), Doug Fraser, Helen and Norm Schmidtke.

As an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, The Friends of Algonquin Park and Muskoka Mental Health Association in Lieu of flowers.
