She was predeceased by: her mother Elaine Ecclestone; her husband Don; and her close friend Dr. George Garland. She is survived by: her brother John (Carolyn); her children, Karin, Kip (Jen), Kevin (Karen) and Kali; her grandchildren, Chris (Lyndsay), Andrew, Gillian (Mitch), Connor, Courtney (Matt) and Evan; and her great grandchildren, Poppy, Blake and Willa.

A small gift of remembrance in Joy's name would be welcomed by the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
