He is survived by: his mother Elaine Rye (Larry); his sister Janice Rye-Meredith (Lloyd); his children, Kara-Dawn Downing (Jake), Levi Rye (Alyssa), Kyla Rye (Nick) and Jerret Downing (Elawyn); and his stepdaughters, Alyssa Downing (Kyle) and Samantha Sangster (Alex).
