He was predeceased by: his child Kim Sollman; his parents, Christian Sollman and Agnes Sollman; and his siblings, Stan, Calvin and Myrtle Sollman.

He is survived by: his wife Barb Sollman; his daughter Karen Nichol (Ed); his grandsons, Robert and Adam Nichol (Genna); his great grandchildren, Avery and Ellie Nichol; and his siblings, Larry (Pat) and Phyllis.
