He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife JoAnn (Payette); his sons, Daniel Payette and Darcy Payette; his mother Shirley Matthews of Huntsville; his brother Ken; his sister-in-law Debbie Matthews of Nipawin, Saskatchewan.; his nieces, Mandy, Jessica, Susan, Sarah and Lisa; his sister Brenda Anderson (Brian); his father Harold William Matthews; and his grandparents, Jack and Effie Matthews. He was also cherished by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
