He was predeceased by: his spouse Helda Schroll; his parents, Friedrich Christian Schroll and Berta Franziska Cacillia Linder (Schroll); and his siblings, Helga and Walter Franz Albert "Wally" Schroll.

He is survived by: his sons, Mark Schroll (Lynn) and Richard Schroll (Karen Corey); his grandchildren, Phil, Chris, Caitlyn, Colette (Schroll) and Erin (Schroll); his nieces, Erika Arabel (Schroll) and Katie Porretta (Rowland); and his half-sister Annelies Linder. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
