She was predeceased by: her parents, Edison Broadbent and Lorraine Broadbent; her sons, Gerald and Douglas Appleyard; and her siblings, Harvey (June), Sidney, Roger, Sanford Broadbent and Caroline Lupton.
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Appleyard; her children, Rick (Bev), James (Amanda), Raymond Appleyard and Joyce Green (Marvin); her grandchildren, Matthew (Kayla), Taylor (Cody), Norman MacKay, Savannah, Quinton, Dillon, Ryan, Damon and Kaydan; her great grandchildren, Rayna, Jackson MacKay and Denim Whale; and her brothers, Ray (Deb), John and Kenny Broadbent. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Princess Margaret Cancer Research Centre, Hospice Huntsville or a charity of ones choice.
