It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Evan Millikin of Huntsville, Ontario, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Christina Millikin (Hepsworth) and Keith Carlyle Millikin; his brother Robin Millikin; his wife Doris 'Dorrie' Millikin (Hughes); his son Keith; and his grandson Evan.

He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Halliday and Colleen Millikin (William Bennett); his daughter-in-law Beverly Millikin; his grandchildren, Rebecca (Brian), Jonathan, Marlena (Matthew), Sheena (Tony) and Robbie; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Lachlan and Callahan; his friend Bob Hutcheson (Hutcheson); and his family, Niagara Falls and Corinth (Mississippi).

When he couldn't swim during COVID, he used his rowing machine.

He also spearheaded the donation of eight acres on Bayshore Blvd. to the Muskoka Conservancy, to create the Pileated Ridge Nature Reserve.
