He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce and Helen; and his sister Beth. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Samantha and Jason (Margaret); his grandchildren, Bronwen Petch, Marley (Simon Gottschalk) and Sydney Barton-Petch (Shane Trumble); his siblings, Lynne (Ken Lytle), Juli (Ted Goldhawk) and Bob; and his siblings-in-law, Lynda (Dave Willard), Gayle (Vic Fairthorne) and James Edgar (Sandrine Exibard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
