He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Betty Ann (MacDonald); his daughters, Lesley (Tom) and Janet (Derek); his grandchildren, David (Katherine), Katherine (Dan), Michael, Charlotte and Isabella; his great grandchildren, Adelaide and Samuel; his siblings, Neil and Nancy; his sister-in-law Verta; his parents, Don Patterson and Mary Patterson (Benson); and his wife Elizabeth MacDonald (Betty Ann).
