He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Elizabeth (Lil). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Rayner; his daughters, Heather and Emily; his grandson Michael; and his sister Diana (David).

I remember Dave's keen interest in bird banding, his two Lada cars, one beige 1979, previoiusly owned by the Elliotson family, and a light blue early 1980's which Dave found to be far less reliable. He was a kind, mild mannered man who I esteemed, always ready to lend a hand. I remember him attending the Community Church in Mono Mills that met in the Victoria Parks Community Center.
