With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David John Phillips of Huntsville, Ontario, born in Parry Sound, Ontario, who passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David John Phillips to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie and Enoch Roy; and his brother James (Nancy). He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Kevin (Terri) and Kimberley Stephenson (Jay); his grandchildren, Jessica and Nicolas Phillips; and his sisters, Helen White (late Merl Bacon) and Dianne McKee (Brian). He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.

“I was at the No Frills here Port Dover Ontario this morning when I had a conversation with Katie Wade (a former employment of Deerhurst Resort) and she let me know that Dave had passed away. It caught me off guard, I immediately thought of all the great times working with Dave at Deerhurst. I must say that Dave was a huge supporter of mine thru some difficult times in my last few years at Deerhurst. I regret never telling him that. Diane please accept my condolence to your family.
