It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carlos Burmeister (Huntsville, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 52, on January 27, 2021. He is survived by: his spouse Kelly (Gates); his children, Joshua, Devon and Peyton; his parents, Klaus Burmeister and Eva Ledesma; and his siblings, Carmen (Roland) and Claus (Helene). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as many close friends.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions a Celebration of Life is planned for this summer on the McCulley-Robertson Soccer field in Huntsville (date to follow).
The Huntsville Soccer Club is naming an annual tournament in Carlos' name and will also assist the foundation in distributing soccer balls to children internationally.
