She was predeceased by: her parents, Cedric Hodge and Viola Hodge (Mick); her siblings, Marion (Colin Mosley), William "Bud" Hodge (Ruth Smith) and Barbara LeMay (Morley Higgins); and her husband Donald Everett Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Kathy), Janet, Karen (Kevin) and Peter (Connie); her grandchildren, Meg, Jordan (Danielle), Shannon (Kyle), Gillian (Mitch) and Connor; and her great grandchild Walker.

Bernie was always welcoming and happy to see everyone. He remembers the treats and goodies she shared when at her house and also sending them along to the camp.
