He was predeceased by: his parent Tove Mikkelsen. He is survived by: his brother Jens Bertelsen (Annagrethe Bertelsen) of Denmark; his children, Michael Bertelsen (Julia) and Susanne Payne (Bill); his grandchildren, Bree, Seanna, Leif and Erik; and his wife Muskoka Masonry.
