She was predeceased by: her husband Adrian; and her sisters, Catharina Elisabeth, Amanda and Adriana. She is survived by: her brother Adriaan (Lenny); her sons, Kenneth (Brenda), Alan (Cathy) and Ian (Elsa); her grandchildren, Michael (Andrea), Robert (Courtney), Bryan (Korrie), Maximilien (Andreanne), Jordan (Natalie), Jacob, Émile (Yasmine), Noah (Claire) and Mya; and her great grandchildren, Dawson, Olivia, Porter and Archer.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Billingsley Funeral Home (430 Ravenscliffe Rd, Huntsville, ON P1H1L7). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church (12 Centre St N, Huntsville, ON P1H2C2). A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery (485 Muskoka District Road 3, Huntsville, ON P1H1C6). A reception was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the St. Mary's of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church (12 Centre St N, Huntsville, ON P1H2C2).
