He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Andrew and Gertrude Emma Steeves (Mitton); his former wife Shirley Eleanore Steeves (Emo); his brother Herbert; his wife Amy G. Steeves; his children, Bob and Carol; and his son-in-law Art.
He is survived by: his sister Faith; his daughter-in-law Valerie; his grandchildren, Adam (Kyla), Raymond (Selena), James (Tanya), Kathleen, Robert (Julie) and Christopher; and his great grandchildren, Kimble, Meredith, Abby, Ava, Fernand, David, Sally, Mikey and Lexi Hill.
Instead of flowers, those wishing to make a donation are asked to donate to dementia research with the McCormick Care Foundation or The Hospital for Sick Children.
