Eli Kahara Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2020, Eli Kahara of Hornepayne, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Miriam Brinkworth, Lea Gillies and Erkki Kahara; his parents, Dagmar Kahara and Johannes Kahara; and his son William Joseph Kahara.

He is survived by: his wife Lynda Kahara; his children, Gilbert Kahara (Jeanne Kahara) of Thunder Bay and Laura Kahara Bayford (George Bayford) of Hornepayne, Ontario.; his grandchildren, Ben, Joseph, Cassandra and Eric; and his great grandchildren, Bennett and Avery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet is mandatory for those attending.

Donations to the Hornepayne Community Hospital would be appreciated.
