She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Mitchell and Mary Mitchell; and her husband Ronald Godfrey. She is survived by: the father of her children Raymond Northey; her close friend Eleanor Clarke; her children, Lisa Greer (Len) and Lynn Northey (Mike Kessler); her grandchildren, Madelyn and Meadow; her sister Susan Mitchell-Hall; her nephew Robert Porter; and her nieces, Terri-Lyn Auger, Trishia Todd, Ashley Northey and Crystal Yaki.

At Sylvia's request and Covid restrictions, a celebration of life date will be determined.

In memory of Sylvia, donations may be made to the Parkinson's foundation.
