She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Walter Perks; her parents, Eileen Whiteside of Hillsdale and Graham Whiteside of Midland; her siblings, Susan Whiteside of Tiny, James (Susanne) of Ajax, Patrick (Judy) of Orr Lake, Graham Jr. and Mark of Hillsdale; and her brothers-in-law, Edward (May), William (Lynda), Tom (Kathie) and Jim (Caren).

Memorial donations to Georgian Bay Triangle Humane Society in memory of Maria would be appreciated.
