It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harmijntjen Smit in Hillsdale, Ontario, who passed away on April 16, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her spouse Jan "John" Smit; her daughters, Janet (Mick) and Joyce (David); her grandchildren, John, David (Megan), Margaret Rose and Mykayla; and her siblings, Annie Kaai of Zaandam, Holland and Maartje Modderkolk.
