He was predeceased by: his daughter Sandra; and his brother Albert. He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Tony Mitchell (Lette), Brenda Kloostra (Simon), Gail Hoskin, George Mitchell Jr. and Wendy Kennedy (Harvey); and his sister Connie Kittmer. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
