We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2019, at the age of 73, Gary Wayne Hanewich (Hillsdale, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Hanewich and Ernie Hanewich; his father-in-law Ernest; and his siblings-in-law, Allan Werry, Grant Werry, Albert Werry and Ann Werry.

He is survived by: his wife Sophia Elizabeth Jane Hanewich (Werry); his siblings, Ed (Sharon), Helen Tonkin (David) and Lora Medeiros (Paulo); and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Clark Werry (Kathleen McGill), Diane, Eleanor Werry and Faye Bristow. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or Kingsview United Church in Oshawa are appreciated.
