He was predeceased by: his parents, James Congo and Ruth Congo of Highgate; his wife Katie Congo; his stepmother Mildred Congo; his stepbrother Wilfred Carey; and his siblings-in-law, John and Susie McColl.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Congo Farmer of Cypress and Allan James Congo (Jill) of Highgate; his grandchildren, Austin Farmer, Anjo, Jonas and Joana Sta Cruz; his stepsister Kathleen Eberle (Wayne) of Highgate; and his brothers-in-law, Neil McColl (Shirley) of Rodney and Donald McColl (Nancy) of Rodney. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
