She was predeceased by: her son Jerry; her parents, Eglantine Desjardins and Oscar Desjardins; and her sister Claudia Desjardins. She is survived by: her husband Earl Petrie; her children, Diane Bigelow (Mark) of Cumberland Beach, Pauline Rhynolds (James) of Barrie, Joanne Dale (John) of Windsor, Bruce (Jennifer) of Kitchener and Eric (Christina) of London; and her brothers-in-law, Fred (Edythe) of St. Mary's, Dennis of Stratford and Bob of Stratford.
