He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Bev (Herbert); his children, Paul Daniel Dixon of Toronto and Rebecca Louise Dixon (Jim Beal); his stepchildren, Rod Herbert (Brenda) of Sebringville and Nancy Griffith (Bruce Cook) of Toronto; his grandchildren, Scott, Samantha and Ilija; his siblings, Christine Martin (Ken) of Ascot, Jill Dixon (Jerry Morley) of Sleaford, England and John Sims (Linda) of Mississauga; his nieces and nephews, Oliver, Rhian and Amy; and his great-nieces, Rose and Lily.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
