She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Henderson and John Henderson; her parents-in-law, Alice and Paul Neilands; her brother Jack Henderson; and her brother-in-law Ron Hibbert.

She is survived by: her husband Tom Neilands; her close friends, Amy, George Zoethout, Luanne Neilands, Kelly, Ryan Oesch, Regan Neilands, Mackenzie McClinchey, Jill and Jeremy Muir; her grandchildren, Nathan, Finn, Jackson, Ella, Aaron, Blake, Chloe, Cassidy, Drew, Thomas, Harper, Hadley, Cooper and Londyn; and her sisters, Lois (Keith Lindsay), Jean (Bryan Underwood) and Sylvia (Richard Packham). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a wonderful community of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honour of Kathleen to the Roycal Canadian Legion, Branch 468 (Hensall Legion) or the Tanner Steffler Foundation.
