She was predeceased by: her husband John Stacey; her parents, Kenneth Hicks and Jean Hicks; her brother Bob Hicks; her sister-in-law Kathy; her aunt Laura; and her uncle Russ Ireland.
She is survived by: her sons, Ted (Jennifer), Jim and Mike; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Elliot; her siblings, Bill (Wanda), John (Gail) and Nancy; and her sister-in-law Carolyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in Janet's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or to St. Paul's United Church, Bowmanville.
