He was predeceased by: his son Larry; his sister Eleanor; his brother-in-law Cleave Brophy; his sister Ruth McBride; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Mastin, Ron Beuerman and Bill Siemon.

He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Dawson (Siemon); his children, Melissa Dawson, Brent and Sharen Dawson; his grandchildren, Jamie, Brendan, Lindsay, Kristen, Kris, Jenna and Chad; and his siblings-in-law, Jim McBride, Elsie Beuerman, Vicki Siemon, Keith and Pauline Siemon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP for the visitation.
