He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shae van Haarlem; his sons, Maverick and Goose; his parents, Peggy Mathonia (Hay) and Ralph Mathonia; his siblings, Rob (Lindsay Mathonia), Mandy Mathonia (Chris Arnold), Stacey (Matt Kerslake) and Brooke Mathonia (Jarrett Baker); his nieces and nephews, Caiden, Cohen, Bennett, Mia, Kaisley, Graelyn, Nolan and Oliver; and his grandparents, Gordon, Jeanne Hay, George and Maria Mathonia. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
