He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Grundy and George Grundy. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Smith; his son Russell Grundy; and his brothers, John Grundy (Darryl) of Beeton and Bob Reynolds (Wanda) of Exeter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
